HOW WE WORK: Currently, we make limited batches of our bricks and mini cake muffins available on Saturday mornings on the San Mateo Peninsula. Pre-ordering is the best way to lock-in your cakes for Saturday morning pickup at our pop-up location, or choose our popular doorstep delivery. Bricks and mini cake muffins are also available for purchase at our pop-ups - but get there early as supplies are limited.

PRE-ORDERS: Currently, Pre-ordering opens on our website Sunday mornings for the upcoming Saturday drop! Pre-Orders for special non-Saturday drops will be announced to our email subscribers!

DOORSTEP DELIVERY 101: Doorstep deliveries are made between 8a-12n just in time for your first (or second) cup of coffee! We deliver to Burlingame, Hillsborough, San Mateo, Foster City, Belmont, San Carlos, Redwood City, Redwood Shores, Menlo Park, Woodside, Atherton, Portola Valley and Palo Alto.

A small delivery fee is charged at checkout and all delivery fees go to our young coffee cake drivers ;)

Jimmy & Gran's Rustic Almond Coffee Cake

My mom (Gran, to her grandkids) created this legendary cake in her San Francisco kitchen, literally in the "Summer of '69'. She set out to make a coffee cake that was richer, with more cinnamon and her signature almond crumb. Over five decades, she created an underground cult in the greater Bay Area, giving away 100s a year so friends, neighbors and strangers had one for Christmas morning, holidays, birthdays, brunches, or any random day of the week. The uber-moist cakes can stay on your countertop for those "slice stealing" moments, or better yet, freeze what you don't finish! We up eating the cake "slightly defrosted" - cold cake is the best!

The Baker's Story

1875. The year our family first came to San Francisco. There were butchers, bakers, fish and chip makers, killer home chefs and dinner party throwers. I became a television producer. Until now.
